"we"), as a data user under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance
(Chapter 486) (the "PDPO"), regarding the “Personal Data” it

"Personal Data" in this policy statement means any data relating
directly or indirectly to a living individual from which it is
practicable for the identity of the individual to be directly or
indirectly ascertained, whether such data exists in the form of
text, images, sound or otherwise, and shall have the meaning
assigned to it by the PDPO.
Changes become effective when they are posted on this website.
Our Policy
We are committed to complying with the obligations and
requirements under the PDPO. Our officers, management, and staff
must respect the confidentiality of and properly keep all
personal data collected and/or stored and/or transmitted and/or
used by us (or on our behalf) at all times.
We strive to ensure that the collection and/or storage and/or
transmission and/or use of all personal data is carried out in
accordance with the obligations and requirements prescribed by
the PDPO.
Should any individual lawfully request access to and/or
correction of personal data held by us regarding themselves, we

in the manner prescribed by the PDPO.

Categories of Personal Data Collected:
We may request you to provide personal data for the purpose of

(g)Direct marketing purposes (see the "Direct Marketing" section
below for details).
Retention of Personal Data
We will destroy the personal data we hold in accordance with
internal retention policies. This policy is as follows:
(a) Personal data will be retained until the original purpose for
which the data was collected, or a directly related purpose, is
fulfilled, unless the personal data must be retained under any
applicable law or contractual requirement;
(b) According to the above criteria and our internal procedures,
personal data will be cleared from our electronic, manual, and
other storage systems after a specified period.
Disclosure of Personal Data
Except in the following circumstances, all personal data held by
us will be kept confidential; however, we may disclose data to
the following persons when it is necessary to achieve the purpose
of collection or a directly related purpose:
(a) Any of our subsidiaries, holding companies, associated
companies, affiliates, or companies controlled by us or under
common control with us;
(b) Any person or company representing us or in joint venture
with us to achieve the purpose of providing such data or a
directly related purpose;
(c) Any other person or company who has an obligation of
confidentiality to us regarding the above data and has committed
to such confidentiality, and who has a legal right to access such
data; and
(d) Any financial institutions, charge or credit card issuing
companies, credit information or reference agencies, or
collection agents to verify and support your payment instructions
on this website.
Personal data may also be disclosed to any person entitled to
access such data under the PDPO or other applicable laws,
provided they can prove their right to access the data. For
example, if a court issues an order requiring us to provide
information about certain customers, we will disclose the data to
officers formally appointed by the court or other persons
directed by the court.
Transfer of Personal Data Outside Hong Kong
When we transfer personal data to places outside Hong Kong, we
will take appropriate measures where practicable to ensure that
the data recipient in those places provides a level of protection
no less than the standards required by the PDPO (for example, by
requiring compliance with relevant data protection and security
requirements through contractual terms).
Security of Personal Data
Physical records containing personal data are restricted to
access by designated supervisors or staff, who will handle the
data in accordance with this Privacy Policy statement and the
Ordinance.
Computer data is stored in computer systems and storage media
with restricted access and/or in controlled areas.
We may use encryption technologies such as SSL to transmit data
collected online.
Access and Correction of Personal Data
Under the PDPO, individuals have the right to:
(a) Inquire whether we hold personal data about them and (if so)
obtain a copy of such data;
(b) Request us to correct inaccurate personal data about them for
the purpose of using that data; and
(c) Ascertain our policies and practices regarding their personal
data, which generally comply with the provisions of this policy
and practice.
We may charge a reasonable fee for processing any written request
for access to data (but no fee will be charged for requests to
correct personal data); the level of fees will be determined
based on the principles set out in the PDPO and relevant practice
guidelines.
Individuals can exercise the right of correction in the following
ways:
(a) Write to us at the email address below, indicating the
information the applicant believes is inaccurate, the reasons
they believe it is inaccurate, and the relevant corrected
information; and
(b) Provide "Proof of Identity" to verify that the applicant
requesting the correction has the right to make such a
request.
After verifying the authenticity and validity of the change
request, we will endeavor to comply with the request and respond
within the timeframe prescribed by the Ordinance.

Direct Marketing
